NIRF 2025 invites Comments and Feedback: NIRF is a higher institute ranking framework that releases a ranking every year. The NIRF 2025 is in its tenth edition. The response has been overwhelming this year too. NIRF has asked the comments or feedback from the stakeholders. It is for the institutes that have submitted their data.
NIRF 2025 Schedule
21 March 2025 to 2 April 2025
The feedback and comments are auto-transmitted through an email without disclosing the stakeholder’s identity to the institutions. NIRF has instructed all the Nodal officers to regularly check their email to take necessary action on the comments or feedback received from various stakeholders. The purpose of this exercise is to double check the institute reputation or discrpencies that is not shown by the concerned institute.
New Category
NIRF 2025 has introduced a new category namely Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Institutions willing to participate may register under the SDG Category. In its ninth edition, it has added three new categories namely state university, distance or open learning institute, and skill university.

- Agriculture and allied sectors
- Law
- Medical
- Dental
- Innovation
- Skill University
- Open University
- State Public universities and General Degree Colleges
- Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
