PGEE 2025 entrance test for Master and PhD Programme: PGEE 2025 entrance test: the application is open for admission to the Master’s & Doctorate (College of Veterinary Science& A.H.), Master’s and Doctorate (College of Biotechnology), Master’s (College of Dairy Sciencem, and Master’s (College of Fisheries Science) courses in Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhaya Pashu Chikitsa  Mathura. Admission to all Post-graduate programs shall be made strictly on the basis of merit in the Post Graduate Entrance Examination 2025 (PGEE-2025) conducted by DUVASU, Mathura.

Counselling

The allocation of the discipline to a candidate shall be made at the time of counselling according to the merit obtained in the PGEE-2025.

Test

The  Post graduate entrance examination (PGEE-2025) will be conducted by DUVASU, Mathura for selection of candidates to Undergraduate Degree programmes. For admission to UG degree programme the candidates will have to appear essentially in, UGEE-2025 which shall be conducted at different centres as may be notified by the University.

M. Tech. (Dairy Engineering)

For admission in Master Programme (M.F.Sc in Aquaculture),

the candidate must have passed a minimum of 4 year degree programme (Bachelor of Fisheries Science) with 6.000/10.000 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for un-reserved, OBC and EWS category candidates and 5.500/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for SC/ST/PH category candidates from a recognized University.

Eligibility for Doctorate programme (in College of Veterinary Science and AH)

MVSc in the concerned subject with an OGPA of 6.500/10.000 or equivalent percentage of marks for un- reserved (UR), OBC and EWS category candidates and 6.000/10.000 for SC/ST/PH category candidates.

Eligibility for Doctorate programme (in College of Biotechnology) is Master degree (M.Sc. or M. Tech.) in any branch of science related to Biotechnology and bioinformatics such as Chemistry/ Biology/ Life Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Plant and Environmental science/ Pharmacy/ Agricultural Science/ Pharmaceutical Science/ MVSc with an OGPA of 6.500/10.000 or equivalent percentage of marks for un- reserved (UR), OBC and EWS category candidates and 6.000/10.000 for SC/ST/PH category candidates.

Exam Pattern

PGEE-2025 for Masters Programme i. Duration of the question paper shall be of two hours.

There will be 200 multiple choice questions with four optional answers for each question.

The Question Booklet contains 200 questions serially numbered from 1 to 200.

The questions shall be framed from all the subjects of Veterinary & Animal Sciences for those seeking admission in MVSc.

The questions for admission to M.Sc./ M.Tech (Biotechnology) will be framed from all the subjects of B. Tech. (Biotechnology) and questions for admission to M.Sc. / M. Tech. (Dairy Science) will be framed from all the subjects of B. Tech. (Dairy Technology) and 28 questions for admission to M.F.Sc. will be framed from all the subjects of B. F. Sc. as per recommendations of Vth Deans committee report of the ICAR.

The maximum marks for question paper shall be 200.

There is no negative marking.

The OMR Answer sheet/Response sheet is inserted in each Booklet and each OMR sheet has 200 blank spaces serially numbered from 1-200 for filling the answers of respective questions. NO ADDITIONAL OMR SHEET SHALL BE PROVIDED. Candidates are advised to handle and fill it carefully
