If this sort of problem arises before the students, it is mandatory for a student to immediately report any inconsistencies, including questions that are incorrect or not part of the syllabus, as well as any other errors found in the exam question paper, to the invigilator. Once notified, the supervisor will then transmit the concerns to the appropriate authorities within the Board using email.

To address these discrepancies, a new system for marking will be created. The revised procedure will involve incorporating feedback from educators who teach Classes 10 and 12 to establish the marking criteria.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) mandates that teachers, as custodians of the examination process, have the duty of delivering the question paper to the Board. Alongside this crucial task, they are also required to furnish a comprehensive review report on the same day as the examination. This report should encompass an assessment of the exam’s level of difficulty, identification of any inconsistencies within the paper, evaluation of print quality, and verification of adherence to the prescribed syllabus for the questions. Commencing on February 15, the Class 10 and 12 examinations administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) are currently underway.

These assessments are being conducted not only in various locations across India but also in 26 additional countries. CBSE reports indicate that this academic year has seen an impressive enrollment of over 39 lakh students, hailing from both domestic and international backgrounds, representing a total of 26 nations.

The board exams for Class 10 are set to conclude on March 13, 2024, while the Class 12 exams will wrap up on April 2 of the same year. It is worth mentioning that in the previous academic year of 2023, a total of 38.82 lakh students participated in the CBSE-administered board exams for both Class 10 and Class 12
