IIT Roorkee gives an opportunity to the UG students for a research internship. Students of any engineering or science institute can take part in this research internship. The IIT Roorkee SPARK Programme 2026 is a prestigious summer research internship aimed at offering motivated undergraduate students hands-on exposure to advanced research under mentorship from IIT Roorkee faculty. It is one of India’s top-funded summer internship programs, designed to encourage bright students to pursue research and higher studies in science, technology, and engineering.
Candidates staying in the hostel will pay the fee. It is to be noted there are few seats are available here, it ranges from 60 to 65 students. This may increase or decrease.
Can Non IIT student take part in Spark 2026?
Yes, it is open for non IITs students but their eligibility condition is little different than other institutes. These candidates must 8.5 CGPA

Objectives
