SSC Stenographer C & D update: The SSC has released the update on the number of applications received for the Stenographer C and D positions. The SSC has shared that the number of candidates who have registered for the exam is 3.5 Lakhs. The exam will take place in 157 centres spread across 85 cities.

The computer-based examinations relating to Stenographers Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2025 are happening under SSC. It will take place at 157 centres spread over 85 cities across the country from 6th to 8th August, 2025. Over 3.50 lakh candidates have registered for the exam. The authorities have allotted test centres based on the options the candidates exercised during the application process. 79% of the candidates got the centre of their first/second/third choice. The average of the distances between the application address and the city in which the centres have been assigned in respect of these candidates is about 220 kilometres.
Skill Test
SSC will organize the skill test for the qualified candidates in due course of time. The admit card for the same will be out.
