SSC Stenographer Group C and D 2024 Notification – Correction window has opened on August 27 and candidates can make the changes in the application till August 28,2024. The authority has released notification for opening of correction window. Correction window for SSC Stenographer C and D recruitment will be opened from August 27 to 28, 2024.

SSC Stenographer IMPORTANT DATES:

The official notification for the SSC Stenographer Examination-2024 is expected to be released on 16-July, 2024. The application process will begin on the same day, and candidates will have until 14-August, 2024, to submit their applications.

SSC Stenographer Group C and D 2024 Notification

SSC Stenographer Eligibility:

• The candidate must be either: a citizen of India, OR
• the subject of Nepal, OR
• a subject of Bhutan, OR
• A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st of January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

• The Candidates must have passed out 12^th /Equivalent from a recognized Board or from a university.

SSC Stenographer Salary:

• Group ‘C’- Rs. 9,300- Rs. 34,800
• Group-‘D’- Rs. 5,200 – Rs. 20,200
• Allowances Included for the SSC Stenographer Salary in 2024 is House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dreams Allowance (DA), Transport Allowance (TA).

SSC Stenographer Selection Process:

• Tier-I:  Objective Type Question (Multiple Choice Question)
• Tier-II:  Skill Test.
• Document Verification
• Final Selection and allocation of Ministries/ Departments will be made based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Examination and the Preference of Posts/ Department Exercised by them at the time of Document Verification.

SSC Stenographer EXAM PATTERN:

The SSC Stenographer Grade “C” & “D” Examination, 2024, will follow a computer-based exam pattern, which includes multiple-choice questions. The exam will be conducted in two stages, with the first stage consisting of a computer-based test and the second stage comprising a skill test. The syllabus for the exam will cover topics such as General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension.

Marking Scheme:

• Negative Marking- 1/3 Marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
• The Exam Duration is 2 hours 40 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped.

Tier-2: SKILL TEST:

• The Candidates will be given test for 10 minutes in English/Hindi at speed of 100 wpm for the post of Stenographer Grade- ‘C’
• The Candidates will be given test for 10 minutes in English/Hindi at speed of 80 wpm for the post of Stenographer Grade- ‘D’

AGE CRITERIA:

The age limit for Grade C is between 18-30 years, while for Grade D, it is between 18-27 years.

• Maximum Age: 27-Years

• Visit the SSC website and click on www.ssc.gov.in.
• If you are not registered at this portal firstly register yourself.
• For registration enter your personal details like your name, father name, mother name, date of birth etc. and generate your password.
•  After that login yourself by using Phone number, Date of birth and Password.
• Now, Click on Apply link.
• Find Section SSC Stenographer Group –‘C’ and Group- ‘D’ 2024 and click on ‘Apply Now’ against this.
• After reading instructions, take a print out and click on Next and again read important Note and click on Next.
