UCEED 2024 Counselling: IIT Bombay has been also released the 1st round of Seat Allotment on April 10, 2024 and Will release List of 2nd Round on May 10, 2024. Registration process for UCEED 2024 Counselling has been conducted from March 14 to April 2, 2024.

Candidates who have secured a merit rank in the UCEED 2024 exam they can participated in the UCEED Counselling 2024.

What is use of UCEED 2024 result Portal after Coming result and Cleared Exam?

Candidates can check their qualifying status for counselling by logging into the UCEED 2024 result portal using your Email ID and Password.  IIT Bombay already declared result of UCEED 2024 on March 8, 2024 and the Exam was held on January 21, 2024.

Note – Candidates are advised to pay the Seat Acceptance Fee for a round well before the end time/date of the corresponding round.

COUNSELLING Round – I and Round- II

All candidates, who will pay the Seat Acceptance Fee in rounds I and II, can withdraw till the round-II withdrawal end date for claiming the refund. Withdrawals can be done only during the prescribed withdrawal schedules.

RULES FOR SEAT ALLOTMENT:

  1. If Declared candidate DO Not remit the seat acceptance free before the deadline/ Decline the admission, their application will stand CANCELLED.
  2. They will NOT be considered for the subsequent round of seat allotment.
  3. These vacant seats will be offered to other eligible candidates to be filled up during the subsequent round of seat allotment.
  4. If Applicants are allotted their 1st choice of Institute, they can either ACCEPT (‘Freez’) the offer/ Decline It.
  5. If They choose to Decline the offer, they will NOT be considered for subsequent round, and their current seat allocation shall be Cancelled. The Seat will be filled during the subsequent rounds (if any) of allotment.
  6. Supposed Applicants are allotted their 2nd / 3rd / 4th /5th choice of institute. In that case they can option to either ACCEPT (“freeze”) the choice OR Accept with the option to be considered for upward movement.

ACCEPT/ FLOAT/ FREEZE Option:

  1. If the candidates choose the ‘freeze’ option, it means they have ACCEPTED the offer and do not wish to participate in further rounds of seat allocation. Such candidates will NOT be considered in subsequent round(s) of seat allocation.
  2. If the candidates choose ‘float’ option, it means they have ACCEPTED the offer and have indicated that, if admission to an institute of their higher preference is offered, they will accept it. Else, they will continue with the currently accepted institute. Such candidates will be considered in subsequent round of seat allocation.
  3. For candidates who choose the ‘float’ option, allocation of a seat in an institute of their higher preference in a subsequent round would AUTOMATICALLY result in the forfeiture of the seat accepted by them in the earlier round.
  • In Cases of ACCEPTED/ FLOAT/ FREEZE the candidates must pay the complete amount of the seat acceptance fee mentioned in the provisional seat allotment letter.
  • Failure to make the payment will result in the cancellation of their allotted seat, and they will not be considered in any further rounds (if any) of seat allocation.
  • Candidates offered seats have to remit the seat acceptance fee only ONCE. Thus, Candidates allotted another seat need not Pay the seat acceptance fee again.
  • For Candidates who accepted the Offered seat, the seat acceptance fee will be adjusted against the institute fees of the admitting institute at the time of joining.
  • For Candidates who decline the offered seat after remitting the seat acceptance fee, the refund of the seat acceptance fee will be governed by the policies of the admitting institute.
  • FIVE rounds of seat allocation will be conducted. However, Once the seats are filled, the seat allocation will be sent provisional allotment letters via their registered Email.
