The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Board has officially released a public notice on 3rd September 2025 regarding the web counseling process for admission into BAMS (Bachelor of Ayuvedic Medicine and Surgery) and BHMS (Bachelor of homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) Program.

This Is Very Important Information for those candidates who appeared in NEET (UG) 2025 and want ot take admission in Government and Private Medical Colleges of Odisha Under the State Quota and All India Quota Seats. The Counseling will begin on 5th September 2025 through an online web based counseling system.

OJEE BAMS  BHMS Counselling 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Educational QualificationAge RequirementNativity Requirement
12th with science and  studied individually: Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English.   NEET UG 2025 Rank  The candidate must be at least 17 years old as on 31st December 2025.There is no upper age limit for admission.  The candidate must be a permanent resident (native) of Odisha, ORThe candidate may be a child of an All India Civil Service officer who is currently serving in the Odisha cadre.  

Minimum Marks Required

The candidate must secure a minimum aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as mentioned below:

Who Can Participate in This OJEE 2025 Web Counseling?

  • All candidates who have qualified NEET (UG) 2025.
  • Candidates must have a valid NEET (UG) 2025 rank card.
  • Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria (like domicile conditions, category certificates, etc.).

Note – Without NEET UG qualification, no candidate can participate in OJEE counselling.

OJEE 2025 Web Counseling

This web counseling will be done online. Through this counseling Admission will be done through OJEE Counseling based on the NEET UG 2025 Rank the candidates.

Which Seats are Covered?

The counselling process will cover:

  1. All State Quota seats of Government Colleges in Odisha.
  2. All State Quota seats of Private Colleges in Odisha.
  3. All India Quota (AIQ) seats of Private Colleges in Odisha.

Must Prepare Before Apply

  1. Visit the OJEE official websites to check the counselling schedule.
  2. Read carefully the “Information and Instruction” document provided on the websites.
  3. Collect all required documents in advance (NEET rank card, admit card, certificates, ID proof, etc.).
  4. Be ready to participate in the online choice filling and counselling process starting from 5th September 2025.

Counseling Admission Fee Details

  1. Candidates who get provisional allotment in the 1st round must deposit the admission fee.
  2. The fee structure is:
Part Admission FeeRs. 5,000/-
University Registration FeeRs. 3,500/-
Total FeeRs. 8,500/-
  1. Payment must be done online through the candidate’s login portal.
  2. Candidates will pay the remaining/differential amount at the time of admission in their allotted institute.

How To Apply for OJEE WEB Counseling 2025

Counseling Registration

Step-1: Open your search engine and visit on the official website of OJEE

Step-2: Register yourself using NEET UG roll number, application number, and other details.

Step-3: Create login credentials (username & password).

Step-4: Pay the counselling fee online using debit card, credit card, or net banking.

 Filling of Choices

Step-1: Log in with your username and password.

Step-2: Select your preferred colleges and courses (BAMS/BHMS) in the order of your choice.

Step-3: Lock your choices before the deadline.

Seat Allotment

Step-1: Based on your NEET rank, category, and availability of seats, the system will allot seats.

Step-2: The allotment result will be published on the website.

Document Verification

Step-1: Upload all required documents for verification.

Step-2: Some candidates (special categories like ES/PC) may need to appear physically at specific boards.

Reporting to College

Step-1: Once a seat is allotted and documents are verified, candidates must report to the allotted college to confirm admission.

Step-2: Pay the admission fee as required by the college.

Important Documents Required

Candidates should keep the following documents ready:

  1. NEET (UG) 2025 Admit Card.
  2. NEET (UG) 2025 Rank Card.
  3. Class 10th Certificate and Marksheet.
  4. Class 12th Certificate and Marksheet.
  5. Domicile Certificate of Odisha (if applying under state quota).
  6. Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/ES/PC, if applicable).
  7. Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, etc.).
  8. Passport size photographs.
  9. Other documents as mentioned in the OJEE information brochure.

What is Steps after Provisional Allotment?

  1. Pay Rs. 8,500/- (Rs. 5,000 + Rs. 3,500) online.
  2. Choose the option: Freeze (lock the allotted seat) Or Float (accept seat but want to participate in further rounds).
  3. Report physically at OJEE Cell, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar on the scheduled date and time.
  4. Carry all required documents for verification and provisional admission.
