THE VICTORY OF HARD WORK!

FOURTEEN UNDERPRIVILEGED CRACKED NEET EXAM UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF ZINDAGI FOUNDATION OWNER AJAY BAHADUR SINGH

A wise man has said, “The dream does not become reality through MAGIC; it takes SWEAT, DETERMINATION and hard work.”

These wordings have been proven by the 14 underprivileged students. The Odisha talents cracked the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET). These 14 students are from Zindagi Foundation.

However, this article would not be ended on a good note unless we would not describe the role of Ajaya Bahadur Singh – The Founder of the Zindagi Foundation. While talking to the media, he mentioned that he always wanted to become a Doctor, but couldn’t fulfil his dreams of becoming a doctor. Hence, he started Zindagi Foundation in 2017 to help underprivileged students fulfil their aspirations.

ZINDAGI FOUNDATION :

The Foundation has opened doors for those students who are focused, goal-oriented and diligent, but cannot afford tuition classes. Further, Mr Singh said that in 2018, around 18 students had qualified, and 12 of them took admissions in different medical colleges in Odisha. He feels alive by fulfilling the dreams of children. Mr Singh’s father was an Engineer & wanted his son to become a doctor but due to financial constraints, he could not pursue the medical. During that time, Mr Singh’s father had to undergo a Kidney transplant. For the treatment’s sake, Mr Singh had to sell off their property.

For supporting his family, he sold tea and completed graduation from Sociology Honors. However, his dream was to crack the medical exam & become a top-class doctor. Being a hard worker, he was preparing for his best. But due to the kidney failure of his father, he started his career by selling tea & syrup. After completing intermediate education, he used to sell soda-making machines. He also gave tuition to complete his education. Though, after overcoming the financial crisis, Mr Singh saw the dream to fulfil the dreams of needy students.

Thankfully! Now he is in good condition and he is doing his best in helping students who cannot afford the study fee. He invites poor students to join the foundation. The foundation bears the expenses of their accommodation, food, studies as well as coaching medical entrance examinations.

In 2019, he taught 14 students for NEET and they all cleared the NEET exam. Krishna Mohanty – One of the 14 students of Zindagi qualified for the exam. His mother sells a local cake called ‘Pitha’ at Bhubaneswar’s ISCON temple. Krishna told that his father was ‘Rajmistri’, while his mother was a housewife and he was in sixth standard. But after the father’s death, the mother starts preparing ‘PITHA’. She always wanted to become a doctor, so she contacted Raj Sir and later joined the Zindagi batch, she scored 573 marks in the NEET exam 2019. Ms. Mohanty has been roped in by a government medical college after a 15,295 all-India rank in NEET.

Another achiever – Aniruddha Nayak who is from the Narasinghpur area of Cuttack district secured the highest rank in the 2018 batch of All India Rank (AIR) of 5662. Besides both of them, the list entails the following:

Abanikant Swain (8582), Sailendu Raut (9196), Sai Gourav Mohapatra (10558), Sudhansu Priyadarshini (14831), Omm Singh (16501), Amiya Ranjan Das (25361),  Rutuparna Malla (35265), Jaya Prakash Panda (36900), Manas Ranjan Mishra (47571), Rakesh Kumar Rout (63502), Happin Pattanayak (65010) and Namrata Panda (72778) qualified the exam.

Mr Singh said that he will continue taking Gurudakshina from the students for their entire life. He wants his students to treat patients free of cost. The National Testing Agency announced the results of NEET on June 5 2019. Over 14 lakh students appeared for the NEET exam this year, out of which 7,95,031 candidates living in India qualified for the exam. Definitely, it’s a proud moment for Mr. Ajaya Bahadur Singh whose all the 14 students he had taught cleared the NEET exam 2019. Your Gratitude is commendable Mr Singh, hopefully, by seeing your sincere efforts, many people will get inspired to perform good deeds because you have proved yourself as the epitome of HUMANITY.
