Qualification Requirement
BE/BTech/BS/BSc engineering in Mining with first class
The candidates who have done diploma or degree from distance mode are not eligible to apply
Age
The minimum age is 21 years and upper age has no limit
Selection Process
The weightage of marks will be used to determine the eligibility of the candidates for appointment. These are as follow-:
Academic Record and Research-20 Marks
Maximum 10 or 10 percent of marks obtained in BTEch/BE/BS/BSc Engineering in relevant branch
Maximum 5 or 5 % of marks obtained in MTech/ME/MS in relevant Branch
PhD-5 Marks
Evaluation of Work Knowledge and Teaching Skill through Written Test Objective-40 Marks
- Written Exam Objective-80 questions Duration of Exam 2 Hours
- This will include 40 Questions
- For engineering/technology stream the syllabus of graduate aptitude test in engineering (GATE) will be applicable
Interview-15 Marks
Lecturer engaged on Contract Basis-25 Marks
Weightage to candidates working on the contract basis on the post of Lecturer under Department of Science and Technology and Possessing minimum eligibility criteria@ 05 marks per year(Maximum 25 marks)
Other Factor- The candidates who have done Integrated MTech will have 15 percentage weightage
Passing Marks in Written Test
General-40 percent
Backward class-36.5 percent
Extremely Backward Class-34 percent
SC/ST/PwD/female candidates-32 percent
There is Rs.200 Biometric fee will be levied by the board
