The application form generally opens in the month of July every year. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 is tentatively scheduled for December 7, 2025. The official notification and application form are expected to be released in July 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
- Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing in CLAT 2026.

CLAT 2026: Application Process
- Registration: Visit the official CLAT website (consortiumofnlus.ac.in) and register using your personal email ID and mobile number.
- Form Completion: Fill in personal, educational, and communication details as required.
- Document Upload: Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph, signature, and relevant certificates (e.g., category certificate, if applicable).
- Fee Payment: Pay the application fee online. The fee is ₹4,000 for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates and ₹3,500 for SC/ST/BPL candidates.
- Submission: Review all entered information before final submission. Once submitted and paid, certain fields like program, category, and BPL status cannot be changed.
