Common Nursing Entrance Test CNET 2024 ABVMU Lucknow. The registration process has started from 25 April onward for all the nursing courses. You can apply by May 31 instead May 29 Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU) UP situated at Lucknow will conduct the Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET) for B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing and NPCC courses for the academic session 2024-25 for various colleges affiliated with ABVMU, SGPGIMS, Lucknow KGMU, RMLIMS Lucknow, UPUMS Safai, Government and private sector universities/deemed universities of the state of UP.
ABVMU conducts Paramedical Entrance test for UG and PG courses also.
The entrance test will be conducted in offline mode by black ball pen, provided at the centre. It is important to note that no application form shall be received by post or any other means.
The selection of candidates will be subject to medical fitness. No selected candidate will be permitted to join the course unless declared medically fit by the Medical Board appointed by the University.

Eligibility Criteria
Age
- The minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2023.
- The maximum age limit for admission is 35 years for Unreserved (UR), OBC, EWS, SC and ST, however, the maximum age for candidates with Physical Disability (PD/PwD) will be 40 years. (As per INC regulation).
Educational Qualification
- Candidates have studied Science and passed the qualifying 12th examination (10+2).
- They have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together
- Passed in English individually from any recognized board.
- For SC/ST/OBC the marks obtained in 3 core subjects shall be 40%
- Candidates are also eligible for State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS) recognized by the central government having Science subjects and English only

Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Senior Secondary or Intermediate (12th Standard examination) or (10+2) or an equivalent exam recognized by the University for this purpose. Those who have done 10+1 in or before 1986 will be eligible for admission.
Obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council of Uttar Pradesh (UP Nurses and Midwives Council).
Candidates who have obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council outside Uttar Pradesh state will be eligible if their institution/college is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
A male nurse, trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with the State Nurses Registration Council, shall produce evidence of training approved by the Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the following areas:
