As of early February 2026, the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 application form correction window will open soon after the application form submission closes on 25 February 2026. Students can expect it by 26 or 27

Current Status & Expected Dates

  • Session 2 Registration is ongoing live (started February 1, 2026).
  • Last date to apply → February 25, 2026
  • Correction window → Expected to open immediately after the registration closes, typically within a few days to a week.
    • Most reliable predictions point to late February 2026 (last week of February or early March 2026).
    • Exact dates will be announced officially by NTA shortly after the registration deadline.
    • Duration is usually very short (1–3 days), similar to Session 1 (which was only Dec 1–2, 2025).

What You Can Usually Edit During Correction

NTA allows limited changes (not all fields are editable):

  • Personal details (name, DOB, gender — limited if Aadhaar authenticated)
  • Category / PwD status (sometimes allowed with fee)
  • Exam city preferences
  • Medium of question paper
  • Paper choice (B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Planning)
  • DOB,Gender, Your name,Father or Mother Name
  • Some academic details

Important Rules:

  • No major changes-Mobile Number, Email Id, Present or permanent address,photo of candidates and emergency contact details
  • A correction fee may apply for some changes (amount announced in notice).
  • Corrections are final — no second chance after the window closes.
  • Log in with your application number + password / date of birth to access the correction facility.

How to Make Corrections (When Window Opens)

  1. Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in
  2. Click on “Correction in Particulars of the Online Application Form” (link appears when active)
  3. Login using your application number and password
  4. Make required changes in editable fields
  5. Upload new documents/images if needed
  6. Pay any applicable fee online
  7. Submit and download the updated confirmation page

Advice:

  • It is advisable for the candidates to review their application carefully right after submission so they can fix issues quickly when the window opens.
  • Any update you should check the official website of NTA not rely on any other website. always confirm from jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Session 2 exam is scheduled for April 2 to 9, 2026 (tentative).
