The KARTET 2024 notification has been released for the Karnataka teacher’s eligibility test-2024 for the eligibility to become PRT and TGT teacher in Karnataka State. The application form is available on the official website www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in interested candidates can fill the online application form for KARTET 2024.

The Karnataka school education department has started the online application process for KARTET 2024. Interested candidates who want to teach in government, aided and un-aided schools across Karnataka State. As you know that KARTET (Karnataka teachers eligibility test) is mandatory for candidates who wish to pursue a teaching career at the primary (Class I to V) and upper primary (Class VI to VIII) levels in the state.

Eligibility Criteria for KARTET 2024

Paper I (For Classes I to V)  Paper II (for Classes VI to VIII)
 PUC/Senior Secondary (or its Equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
 PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El. Ed). Instructions to fill out the application form for KARTET 2024

Interested candidates should follow these steps to fill online application form for KARTET-2024

  1. Visit official website www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in
  2. Click on the Online Application for KARTET-2024
  3. New window will be opened and click online application for KARTET 2024 icon
  4. Click on New User
  5. Fill the required details to register on portal (details such as Name, Adhar Number, Mobile Number, Email, User Name and create password)
  6. Click on Get OTP, you will get an OTP on your registered mobile or email id, put the same OTP you get on registered mobile number and email id and save the details.
  7. Login the portal by entering your User Name and password that you created earlier.
  8. After login, complete the all stages of the application form such as personal details, education details, eligibility test papers, photo & signature, declaration, Payment and Print the Application confirmation page.
