RMS Admission for Class VI and IX Class-Registration will start from August 19 for admission to Class VI and Class IX for boys and girls in Rashtriya Military schools (RMSs) located at Chail (HP), Ajmer (Rajasthan), Belgaum (Karnataka), Bengaluru (Karnataka) and Dholpur (Rajasthan). The Registration process will start on August 19, 2024. And Students can apply for this application till September 17th, 2024. These schools are affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and follow the 10+2 system of education. RMS Admission for Class VI and IX Class
Eligibility criteria:
- Class VI Admission
- The candidate must have passed Class V from a recognized school at the time of admission.
- Candidates should be between 10 to 12 years as of July 1, 2024. A relaxation of six months is allowed for wards of defense personnel.
- Class IX Admission
- The candidate must have passed Class VIII from a recognized school at the time of admission.
- Candidates should be between 13 to 15 years as of July 1, 2024. A relaxation of six months is allowed for wards of defense personnel.

RMS School Admission 2025 – Seats Reservation
- A total of 50 seats (Not more than 15 in either of the schools) are earmarked forwards of personnel Killed in action.
- 30% of seats are reserved for the wards of officers and civilian.
- 15%, and 7.5% of the seats in each category (excluding Officer Category) are reserved for SC and ST Candidates Respectively.
- 27% reservation for OBC Non -Creamy layer.
- 10% Seats will be reserved for Female Candidates.
- 70% of seats are reserved for the wards of serving and retired JCOs/ OR those in the Army, Navy and Air Force.
