You have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognised Board
Percentage you have secured a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade (40% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes)

Key Rules for SLAT Exam 2027
- Candidates are allowed to appear for both test dates.
- If a candidate appears in both exams, the higher score will be considered for merit ranking.
- There is no traditional normalization of scores, but question papers are carefully designed and balanced across both tests.
- A standardized statistical process ensures equal difficulty level across both exam slots.
- No request or correspondence regarding score normalization will be accepted.

- Questions are designed to ensure fairness and equal difficulty distribution.
- Final admission will be based on SLAT score + PI (Personal Interaction) process.

SLAT 2027 Exam City & Date Allocation Rules (Important)
- Once a candidate has successfully paid the SLAT registration fee, no request for change of test date or test city will be accepted under any circumstances.
- Test city and test date allocation will be done on a first-come, first-served basis. Early applicants have a better chance of getting their preferred city and slot.
- Candidates who register early are more likely to get their preferred test centre and exam date.
- The exact test timing, exam centre, and complete address will be mentioned on the Admit Card.

CIE Admission Quota for International Students (Brief)
The Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE) reserves 20% of the total intake in each programme for international category students.
Eligible Categories under the International Quota
This 20% reservation includes:
- Foreign Nationals (FN)
- Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card holders
- Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders
- Non-Resident Indians (NRI)
SCIE International Admission Categories (Symbiosis) – Brief Explanation
1. Foreign National (FN)
A candidate is considered a Foreign National (FN) if:
- He/She is a citizen of any country other than India
- Holds a valid foreign passport
2. Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
- As per Government of India notification (9th January 2015), all PIO card holders are treated as OCI card holders.
- Hence, PIO status is now effectively merged into OCI category.
3. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
A candidate is eligible as OCI if:
- He/She has been granted Overseas Citizenship of India
- Holds a valid OCI card
4. Non-Resident Indian (NRI)
A candidate is eligible as NRI if:
- He/She has completed either 10th or 12th (or equivalent) outside India
- At least one qualifying examination must be completed outside India
Important Admission Rules
- OCI, PIO, and Foreign Nationals are exempted from appearing in SLAT 2026
- They must apply through Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE)
