Swayam 2025 Exams: The SWAYAM 2025 exam is just around the corner, with the registration process currently underway. The Exam will be held on May 17, 2025, for 594 courses at various centers. The Last date of online registration is April 22, 2025. SWAYAM, which stands for Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds, is a government-backed initiative that provides access to quality teaching and learning resources for all students

What is the Objective of the SWAYAM Exam?

The Objective of this effort is to take the best teaching learning resources to all, including the most disadvantages. SWAYAM seeks to bridge the digital divided for students who have hitherto remained untouched by the digital revolution and have not been able to join the mainstream of the knowledge economy.

  • Medium of Question Paper – The Question paper medium will be only english.
  • Negative Marking – No Negative marking
  • Exam Courses – 594 Courses in Hybrid Mode
  • Duration of Exam – 180 Minutes. (3 hours)

Timing of Examination

  • Shift – I (09:30 am to 12:30 pm).
  • Shift – II (03:00 pm to 06:00 pm)

Required Documents to Upload for SWAYAM 2025

Candidates must upload documents to complete the successful registration Process. The require Documents list available in below to upload:

  • A computer with proper internet connectivity.
  • The Date of Birth (as mentioned in Class X Board Certificate).
  • Educational/Qualification details.
  • Scanned clear passport photograph in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 kb–200 kb) either in color or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against the white background.
  • Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 kb–30 kb).
  • Category/PwD/PwBD certificate (file size: 50kb to 300kb) in jpg/jpeg format, is applicable.
  • A list of cities of your choice (Annexure-III).
  • Bank account details for payment of fee.
  • A valid e-mail ID as important communications will happen on this e-mail ID.
  • A valid mobile number for notification
  • A valid debit/credit card or Net banking account for ONLINE payment.

SWAYAM 2025 Exams Pattern

Courses – 594 Courses in Hybrid Mode

The Exam will be held for 594 courses in Hybrid Mode

SWAYAM 2025 Exams: Steps to Apply

  • Go to the official SWAYAM website (http://swayam.nta.ac.in/) to begin the application process.
  •  Register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
  •  Fill in the application form with personal details, course selections, and exam city preferences (four choices mandatory)
  • Upload required documents: passport-size photograph, signature, and category/PwD certificate if applicable.
  • Pay the examination fee online via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
  • Download Confirmation Page: Download and retain the confirmation page for future reference.
