UP NEET UG 2025 Second Counselling Schedule starts 17 July
The UP NEET UG (MBBS/BDS) First counselling registration for 2025 started on July 1, and it will be conducted by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh. The Second round of counselling is starting tomorrow, 17 July and will conclude on 21 July, and the merit list will be declared on 21 July. This counselling process is for admission to 85% state quota seats in government and private medical/dental colleges in Uttar Pradesh, with the remaining 15% seats under the All India Quota.
Candidate will serve a bond of Rs.10,00,000.

Key Steps in the Counselling Process
- Registration: Online at upneet.gov.in, with payment of registration and security fees
- Document Upload: Scanned copies of required documents must be uploaded during registration.
- Merit List: DGME will release a merit list of eligible candidates.
- Choice Filling: Candidates can fill and lock choices for colleges and courses. There is no limit to the number of choices
- Seat Allotment: Based on NEET rank, preferences, and reservation criteria.
- Admission: Download allotment letter and report to the allotted college for admission.
