- Printed copy of the filled-in Online Application Form submitted through the JKSSB portal.
- Two recent passport-size color photographs.
- Valid Photo ID Proof (Original) such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport.

| Educational Qualification Certificates | as required for the specific post. These must be valid on or before the last date of online application submission. |
| Date of Birth Proof | Birth Certificate or Matriculation Certificate showing Date of Birth. |
| Domicile Certificate | Domicile Certificate of Jammu & Kashmir issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format, valid up to the cut-off date. |
| Category Certificate | (if applicable) for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/RBA/PSP/ALC/IB, etc., issued in prescribed format by the competent authority, and valid as per the cut-off date. |
| Bonafide Certificate | (if applicable) issued by the Registrar/Controller of Examinations of the concerned university, for candidates who obtained degrees from institutions outside the UT of J&K (excluding Central Universities). |
| Ex-Serviceman Certificate | (if applicable), in Form XIV, duly signed by the competent authority as per Rule 18 of the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Rules, 2005. |
- All certificates must be in the prescribed format wherever applicable, as per the rules/orders by the issuing authority.
- Candidates must appear personally for Document Verification before the Document Verification Committee (DVC) on the scheduled date, along with original documents and self-attested photocopies.
- If a candidate fails to appear for DV or does not produce original certificates, their candidature shall be cancelled.
- Candidates will not be paid TA/DA for appearing in the written test or document verification.
- Reserved category candidates who do not submit valid certificates will be considered under Open Merit category.
