Eligibility Criteria
To appear for the FMGE, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their medical degree from a foreign medical university and obtained their primary medical qualification.
- Eligibility Certificate: Candidates must have an eligibility certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC). This certificate confirms that the candidate is eligible to appear for the FMGE.

FMGE June 2025 Registration
Candidates need to complete the registration online through the official National Board of Examinations (NBE) website. Follow the steps below for FMGE June 2025 registration:
- Open your search engine and visit the official website of FMGE Registration www.natboard.edu.in.
- If you are a new user, you will need to create a login ID. Provide all the required details such as your name, date of birth, nationality, contact details, and email address.
- After creating your login ID, fill out the FMGE application form with accurate details. This will include personal information, educational qualifications, and details of your medical degree.
- You will need to upload scanned copies of your passport-sized photograph, signature, and any other documents specified in the application form. Ensure the documents are in the correct format as mentioned in the instructions.
- The application fee can be paid through online modes such as credit card, debit card, or net banking. The fee amount will be mentioned in the application form.
- After filling in all the details and uploading the necessary documents, review your application and submit it.
- After successful submission of your application, take a printout of the confirmation page for your records.
- Make sure you complete the registration before the last date, i.e., May 17, 2025.
Exam Pattern
The FMGE is conducted in two parts: Part A and Part B.
- Part A: It consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) related to Pre-Clinical and Clinical subjects.
- Part B: It includes 150 MCQs from Para-Clinical and Clinical subjects.
The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode and will have a total of 300 MCQs. The questions will be divided into the following sections:
