Qualifying Marks

Qualifying marks in TG PGLCET-2025: The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25%. (i.e 30 marks out of 120 marks). There will be no qualifying marks for S.C & S.T candidates for ranking

Step-by-Step Application Process

  • Click “New Registration” and enter personal details (name, DOB, email, mobile) to generate payment gateway; verify via OTP.
  • Log in with credentials, complete the form with academic qualifications, address, and preferences; upload scanned photo (40KB-30MB, passport size), signature (10-20KB), and documents like degree marksheets.
  • While uploading the Photo in application form, the passport size photograph should be scanned, Selfies and other mode of photos are not accepted.
  • Pay the fee online (₹900 for OC/BC, ₹650 for SC/ST/PWD) using credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI; no cash or offline modes.

Review details, submit the form, and download the filled application for records; a correction window opens post-deadline.

TG/TS PGLCET 2025 Exam Pattern

TG PGLCET 2026 follows an online computer-based test format with 120 multiple-choice questions worth 120 marks, to be completed in 90 minutes. No negative marking applies, and questions are in English only.​

Question Style

Each question offers four options; select one correct answer. Focus on core postgraduate law topics like schools of jurisprudence, fundamental rights, contracts, IPC, and labour codes for preparation.

Admit Card

The admit card will be released online and candidates will download from the official website and the commission will not send any admit card personally. It is must document for entry to the examination hall

Answer key

The answer key will be out after the exam only for few days. Candidate has opportunity to challenge any key with valid proof of document. Challenges are acceptable only online

Answer key Objection fee

The candidate who want to challenge any key will have to pay Rs.500 for challenging the answer key. They can pay it online only. Refund of fee will be applicable if the challenge is found right within seven days.

Ranking

Candidates will be ranked based on total marks in the TG PGLCET entrance test. Ties will be resolved by prioritizing marks in Part A (Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law); unresolved ties will bracket candidates equally, with age determining seniority during admission.

TG PGLCET ranks apply solely to LL.M. admissions for the 2025-2026 academic year [conversation_history].

National Integration Quota (NIQ)/Management Quota

This quota will be applicable for the candidates of other states provided the candidate satisfies all the other eligibility conditions.

Separate counselling will be conducted for candidates seeking admission under National Integration Quota (NIQ) in University and Constituent Law Colleges and candidates may contact Private Law colleges for admission under Management quota.

Local candidates for the O.U. area include all those declared eligible under O.U. criteria, plus others meeting specific residency or employment conditions.

  • b. Candidates (or either parent) who resided in the State for 10 total years, excluding study (for candidate) or employment (for parent) periods outside the State.
  • c. Children of parents employed by State/Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities, or similar quasi-public institutions within the State.
  • d. Spouses of those employed by State/Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities, recognized educational institutions, or similar quasi-government bodies within the State [conversation_history].
