Admission Process BBA Admissions at DTU
Admissions to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at Delhi Technological University (DTU) are conducted through the Combined Management Admission Committee (CMAC) of the following three universities:
- Delhi Technological University (DTU)
- Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT)
- Indira Gandhi Delhi Technological University for Women (IGDTUW)
Eligibility Criteria BBA Admissions at DTU
To be eligible for admission, a candidate must:
- Have secured at least 50% marks in the Class 12 examination from a recognized board.
- Have passed English as a subject in the Class 12 examination.
- Have appeared for CUET (UG) 2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), in the following subjects:
- English (Code 101)
- General Aptitude Test (Code 501)
Relaxation in Minimum Marks BBA Admissions at DTU
- OBC and Defence Personnel: 5% relaxation (minimum 45% in Class 12)
- SC, ST, and PwD: 10% relaxation (minimum 40% in Class 12)
Selection Criteria
- Admission to the BBA program is based solely on the CUET (UG) 2026 score.
- Seat allotment is carried out according to:
- Candidate’s merit/rank
- Preference of university/institution filled during counselling
- Availability of seats in the respective category
The merit list is prepared using the candidate’s scores in:
- English (Code 101)
- General Aptitude Test (Code 501)
Only the scores from these two CUET components are considered for preparing the merit list.

Merit List Preparation BBA Admissions at DTU
The final merit list for BBA admissions is prepared using the following CUET (UG) 2026 components:

Tie-Breaking Rules
If two or more candidates obtain the same final merit score, the following criteria will be applied in order:
- Higher score in the General Aptitude Test (Code 501) will be given preference.
- If the tie still remains, the older candidate will be ranked higher.
- If the candidates are of the same age, the candidate with higher marks in Class XII English will be ranked higher.
- If the tie still persists, a random number will be used to determine the final ranking.
Important Notes
- Candidates must appear in both:
- English (Code 101), and
- General Aptitude Test (Code 501)
in CUET (UG) 2026. Candidates who do not appear in both tests will not be included in the merit list and should not apply for BBA admission through CMAC 2026.
- If seats remain vacant after the regular admission process, the University may invite fresh applications and adopt an alternative admission criterion as decided by the University.

Counselling and Seat Acceptance BBA Admissions at DTU
Seat allotment is based on:
- Merit rank
- Preference/order of universities and institutions filled by the candidate
- Availability of seats in the respective category

Document Verification
Candidates must appear for document verification as per the notified schedule.
Failure to attend document verification will result in automatic cancellation of the allotted seat.
Seat Acceptance Fee
Candidates allotted a seat in any counselling round must pay a Part Admission Fee of ₹1,00,000 (One Lakh Rupees) within the prescribed deadline using the payment method specified in the counselling guidelines.
- Part Admission Fee: ₹1,00,000
- Balance Fee: Payable to Delhi Technological University (DTU) at the time of academic registration.
Important Instructions
- Payment of the ₹1,00,000 part admission fee is mandatory to confirm the allotted seat.
- Candidates who fail to pay the fee within the specified time will:
- Lose their allotted seat automatically.
- Become ineligible for subsequent rounds of regular counselling.
- Such candidates may still participate in the Spot Round Counselling, subject to seat availability.
