RRB Paramedical Correction Window 2026: Candidates who have completed their online application and paid the required examination fee can make changes to certain details in their application form during the designated modification period. Candidates should bear in mind that once the details have been entered in the ‘Create an Account’ section—such as the registered mobile number and email address and the RRB that has been chosen—they cannot be altered at any stage.

Candidates may pay the required ₹250 modification fee each time they change eligible details; the fee applies to all candidates, regardless of community or category.

What Details Are Not Allowed to Be Changed?

The following information cannot be changed after submission:

  • Details entered in the ‘Create an Account’ form
  • Mobile number
  • Email ID
  • Chosen RRB

RRB Paramedical Correction Window 2026:Additional Fee for Change in Category

A candidate may need to pay an extra examination fee if they change their community or category during the modification process.

For example, if a candidate changes their community from SC/ST to UR, OBC, or EWS, they will have to pay:

  • ₹250 modification fee, plus
  • ₹250 difference in examination fee

The candidate will therefore have to pay the relevant extra amount for the modified application to be accepted. Candidates who change from categories such as Ex-Serviceman (Ex.SM), Female, Transgender or PwBD to UR/OBC (NCL)/EWS, Non-Ex.SM, Non-PwBD, Male, etc. will also have to pay an additional ₹250 examination fee along with the ₹250 modification fee.

Modification Can Be Done Multiple Times

Candidates can make multiple changes to their online application during the modification period, but they will have to pay a modification fee of ₹250 each time they make a change.

The modification facility will be available from 17th October to 26th October 2026, and no modification requests will be accepted after the deadline. It is advised that candidates carefully check all the information before the modification period closes.

RRB Invalid Applications 2026: Reasons for Rejection

RRB applications can be rejected at various stages of the RRB Paramedical recruitment 2026 process if applicants do not follow the instructions prescribed.

Multiple Applications

Any candidate who submits more than one application to the same RRB or to various RRBs will have all of those applications immediately rejected. The candidate may also be excluded from future RRB and RRC examinations.

Incorrect Live Photograph

Candidates must follow the instructions for taking and submitting their live photograph; if they do not meet the live-photo requirements, the application may be rejected at any stage of the RRB Paramedical Correction Window 2026 recruitment process.

Incorrect Signature Upload

Candidates must also follow the instructions for uploading their signature, as failure to meet the signature requirements may result in rejection of their candidature at any stage of the examination process.

Candidate on Debarred List

An application may also be turned down if the candidate’s name is on the debarred list maintained by any RRB/RRC.

Other Irregularities

An application can also be rejected if any other irregularity or deviation from the prescribed instructions is detected during:

  • Application scrutiny
  • Before or after issue of the e-call letter for CBT
  • Document Verification
  • Any other stage of the recruitment process

How can I check the status of an application that has been rejected by the RRB?

People whose applications have been rejected may see the particulars and the reason for the rejection by logging in to the official website of the relevant RRB. The RRB will also send SMS and email notifications to the mobile number and email address the candidate registered for about the rejection of the application.

The decision to reject the application, along with the reason given for the rejection, will be final and binding, and no additional correspondence on the rejection will be accepted.

Will a refund be given for the application fee if the form is rejected?

The examination fee will not be refunded if the application is rejected. They should therefore review all information, photographs, signatures, and other required details before submitting the application.
