Extension of Internship Completion Deadline
The AIAPGET 2026 Internship Deadline Extended to October 31st. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026 for admission to postgraduate AYUSH courses for the academic session 2026–27. The online application process for AIAPGET 2026 commenced through the Public Notice dated 10 July 2026, and the registration process is currently underway.
Following the commencement of the application process, NTA received a large number of representations from candidates requesting an extension of the last date for completing the Compulsory Rotatory Internship, which is an essential eligibility requirement for appearing in AIAPGET 2026.
In compliance with communications received from the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), the last date for completion of the AIAPGET 2026 Internship has been extended from 31 August 2026 to 31 October 2026 for candidates seeking eligibility to appear in AIAPGET 2026.
This extension is applicable to candidates of the following disciplines:
- Ayurveda
- Siddha
- Unani
- Homoeopathy
All other provisions, eligibility conditions, examination schedule, and instructions mentioned in the Public Notice dated 10 July 2026 and the AIAPGET 2026 Information Bulletin shall remain unchanged.
