ASSAM CAT 2026 is Mandatory

Appearing for the ASSAM CAT 2026 is compulsory for every applicant seeking admission to the 3-Year LL.B. programme in any Government or Private law college affiliated with Gauhati University and other participating universities in Assam. Candidates who do not apply for and appear in the entrance examination will not be considered eligible for admission. The authorities have also clarified that students who have not appeared in the entrance test cannot be onboarded on the Samarth Admission Portal.

Minimum Cut-Off Requirement

Merely appearing for the examination is not sufficient. Candidates must also secure the minimum cut-off marks or percentage prescribed by the competent authority. Only those who meet or exceed the qualifying cut-off will be eligible to participate in the admission process.
