IIHT Admission 2026 Eligibility

First Year Admission

• Must have passed Madhyamik (10th) with English as a subject.

Age (as on 16 July 2026):

• General: 15–23 years
• SC/ST: 15–25 years

Lateral Entry (Second Year)

For IIHT Admission 2026 candidates must have any one of the following:

• 10+2 (Higher Secondary) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, or
• 10+2 Vocational in any textile discipline, or
• 10th Pass + 2-year ITI course.

Age (as on 16 July 2026):

• General: 17–25 years
• SC/ST: 17–27 years

Selection Process

• Admission will be based purely on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (no entrance test mentioned).

  • Any other required supporting documents
