Assistant / Upper Division Clerk (Post No. 1, 3 & 5)
Candidates must possess:

Junior Personal Assistant / Stenographer (Post No. 2, 4 & 6)
Candidates must possess either of the following qualifications:
Option 1
- Graduation with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale from a recognized University.
- The graduation must have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the University.
OR
Option 2
- Diploma in Commercial Practice (DCP) / Secretarial Practice with minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale from a recognized Board/University.
- The diploma must have been completed within the prescribed duration of the course.
In addition, candidates must have:
- One year of experience as a Steno-Typist/Stenographer.
- Minimum English shorthand speed of 60 words per minute (w.p.m.).
- Proficiency in the use of Computers.
Important Note
For candidates holding a Diploma in Commercial Practice (DCP) or Diploma in Commercial and Computer Practice (DCCP), the Apprenticeship Training Certificate issued by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), Apprenticeship Act, 1961, will be treated as equivalent to one year of experience as a Steno-Typist/Stenographer.
