NTA Announces New Exam Dates for the Postponed UGC NET & CSIR UGC NET

NTA announced the dates for the exams that will be conducted in next two months. It includes the exam that was cancelled and the exam that was postponed. As UGC NET exam that was conducted on June 16 was cancelled by the authorities they claimed that the integrity of the exam was compromised.

It is interesting to note that the UGC NET was conducted in CBT mode earlier the NTA decided to conduct this exam pen and paper mode this year in a single day.

Now the exam will be conducted in multiple day in computer based test starting August 21 and will end on September 4.

Others exams that were postponed were NCET and CSIR UGC NET. These exam fresh dates have been announced by NTA.

Conducting the exam in CBT mode is secure and have few chances of malpractice as the whole process is digital with less human interference. Even the expert believes so that CBT mode is a safe mode for conducting the exam. UGC NET has been conducted in computer based since 2018 unlike NEET UG which has been single sitting pen and paper mode exam
