CSB Scientist-B Recruitment 2026: Essential Qualification
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Textile Technology from a recognized university, meeting all advertisement conditions.
Applicants should verify their eligibility independently beforehand; no eligibility advice queries will addressed.

Age Limit
Upper age limit is 35 years as of the online application closing date, February 18, 2026.
Short-Listing Criteria Based On GATE Score 2025:
The candidates should be GATE-2025 examination in Textile Engineering & Fiber Science (TF) qualfier and must fulfil the prescribed minimum essential qualifications necessary for particular post to get shortlist.
It is important to note that essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates shortlist or called for interview.
CSB will restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview if the large number of applicatios are receive. Short-listing of candidates for Interview/Personality Test will done in order of GATE SCORE – 2025.

Unreserved/EWS/OBC/Ex-Serviceman candidates pay a non-refundable Rs. 1000 fee; SC/ST/PwBD and female candidates are exempt, with no other exemptions.
