Candidates must possess the requisite full-time regular degree/diploma qualification in their respective area by a recognised institute/university. Candidates holding a qualification acquired through part-time/correspondence/distance education/online mode are not eligible.
2) Candidates should be passed out within two years from the closing date of application (i.e. from 12.03.2024 to 11.03.2026).
The date of result declaration in the final examination should be clearly mentioned in the mark sheet. If date of the result declaration/publication is not mentioned in the mark-sheet, then the candidate must submit any supporting document/certificate mentioning date of result issued by college/university

Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Registration Requirements
Candidates must have an active Aadhaar-seeded bank account that is DBT-enabled per Govt. of India norms. Submit these details in the online application.

- Name & Date of Birth must match Matriculation (10th) Certificate, Aadhaar, and Bank Account.

POWERGRID Apprenticeship Application Process (NR-I Region)
Step 1: Register on Apprenticeship Portals
- ITI (Electrician): Register on NAPS at https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and complete 100% profile with documents.
- Diploma/Degree (Civil/Electrical): Register on NATS at https://nats.education.gov.in/ and complete/update profile.
- Get your NAPS/NATS registration/enrolment number.
Step 2: Apply on POWERGRID Website
- Visit www.powergrid.in → Careers → Engagement of Apprentices → Apply Online.
- Submit online only—no other mode accepted.
- No application fee, no written exam, no interview.
Selection ProcessStage Details Shortlisting Merit-based screening per eligibility & training slots (1:5 ratio called for DV). Reservations for SC/ST/OBC(NCL) per Apprentices Act. Document Verification Called via registered email (no TA/DA). Incomplete apps rejected without notice. Final Selection Merit list → Tri-partite contract on NATS/NAPS + Medical certificate + Police verification.
