UPSSSC के रिवाइज़्ड UP लेखपाल मेन एग्जाम (रिटेन एग्जाम) 2026 में, ट्रेडिशनल मैथमेटिक्स/न्यूमेरिकल एबिलिटी सेक्शन को पूरी तरह से हटा दिया गया है। इसकी जगह डेटा इंटरप्रिटेशन (DI) ने ले ली है जिसमें 10 सवाल / 10 मार्क्स होते हैं।
यह बदलाव ऑफिशियल है और 2026 के रिक्रूटमेंट नोटिफिकेशन (7994+ वैकेंसी के लिए) में बताया गया है। पहले के पैटर्न में पूरा 25-मार्क्स का मैथ्स सेक्शन (अरिथमेटिक, परसेंटेज, प्रॉफिट-लॉस, टाइम-स्पीड, मेंसुरेशन, वगैरह) होता था। अब, सिर्फ़ बेसिक DI पूछा जाता है — कोई कोर मैथ्स कैलकुलेशन नहीं।.
इस साल के एग्जाम से DATA इंटरप्रिटेशन शुरू किया गया है, पहले सब्जेक्ट में मैथ्स था।

- Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer

सिर्फ़ ये टॉपिक (अगर प्रैक्टिस की जाए तो बहुत स्कोरिंग):
- स्टैटिस्टिकल डेटा का इंटरप्रिटेशन और एनालिसिस
- ग्राफ़ पढ़ना (बार, लाइन, पाई चार्ट)
- टेबल, डायग्राम और डेटा सेट
- दिए गए डेटा से निष्कर्ष निकालना
No Number System, Percentage, Ratio, Interest, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, etc.
