AMRUT C-DAC (DAC / PGCP-AC) Admission 2026
The admission for February session is over and classes have begun. The next session will start in May 2026 when the application form opens. The session will start in the July/August 2026
The candidates will be abosorbed on the basis of written Test and for this the candidates must belong to the EWS family
AMRUT C DAC is a fee sponsorship/reimbursement scheme by AMRUT (Academy of Maharashtra Research, Upliftment & Training, Government of Maharashtra) for C-DAC’s Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Advanced Computing (formerly known as PG Diploma in Advanced Computing or DAC).This is specifically for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates from Maharashtra only. It covers the course fee for C-DAC’s Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS) programmes.

Next Opportunity: August 2026 Batch
- C-CAT for August 2026 batch is expected in July 2026.
- Notification & registration usually starts in May/June 2026 on cdac.in.
- AMRUT sponsorship will likely be announced again for the August batch (check mahaamrut.org.in and cdac.in from April–May 2026).
It is important to note that number of seats are very limited we have given the list. The candidate who qualify the test will again fill the form for course sponsorship.

- Admissions and counseling for Feb 2026 batch closed. C-CAT exam held in January 2026.

Each of these PG‑Diploma courses is typically a 6‑month (around 24–26 weeks) full‑time program with roughly 900 contact + practical + project hours, as per C‑DAC and similar institutes’ admission booklets and course highlights.
Educational eligibility (Maharashtra EWS, Open category)
Category & domicile
- The candidates are from Open category and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of communities domiciled in Maharashtra.
- Qualifying degree
- Graduate in Engineering (10+2+4 or 10+3+3 pattern) in:
- IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation
OR
- IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation
- MSc / MS (10+2+3+2 pattern) in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics from a recognised university.
- Candidates must also check course‑specific eligibility on acts.cdac.in.

- Candidates pursuing the final year of Engineering or Post‑Graduation in the above streams are also eligible to apply for the C‑CAT.
- Such candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria of the PG‑Diploma (August 2025 intake) at the time of applying.
- Age limit
- Candidate must be below 35 years of age as on 27 May 2025 while applying
- C‑CAT ranking and eligibility
- Ranks in C‑CAT are on the basis of performance in test
- Sections A + B, and
- Sections A + B + C of the test.
AMRUT C DAC 2026 Rank
Only candidates who qualify and secure a rank are eligible for the counselling rounds for C‑DAC PG‑Diploma courses and related sponsorship.

Caution deposit (seat confirmation)
To confirm the seat allotted during counselling for any of the six selected PG‑Diploma domains, candidates must deposit a caution money of ₹10,000 within the timeline specified in the schedule.
Appear in the C‑DAC Course End Examination (CCEE).

- Candidates allocated PG‑Diploma courses through counselling must complete the sponsorship application process conducted by AMRUT Pune via its official portal:

General C-DAC PGCP-AC (DAC) Admission Process
- Course fee (without sponsorship): ₹90,000 + GST (physical mode) or ₹76,500 + GST (online mode).
- Eligibility: Engineering graduate / MCA / MSc (CS/IT/Electronics etc.) with minimum 55% marks.
