West Bengal ANM & GNM 2026 Admission- The application form will open March End or April 2026. The application form opened little late in the September 2025 because some issued faced by WBJEE. But this year it will open though late but will open in March or April. (for 2026-27 academic session) is managed by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) through a state-level Common Entrance Exam called ANM(R) & GNM-2026.

WBJEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria
- Age: Minimum 17 years as on 31 December of the admission year.
- Qualification: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) from any recognised board with minimum 40% aggregate marks (35% for SC/ST/OBC candidates). Any stream (Science/Arts/Commerce/Vocational) is accepted.
- Domicile: Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- Language: Must be able to read, write and speak Bengali/Nepali.
- Medical Fitness: Must be medically fit (certificate required at counselling).

Vocational Qualification Eligibility for ANM(R) & GNM Entrance Exam
This covers candidates with West Bengal Higher Secondary (Vocational) Examination qualifications in “Healthcare Science” or related groups, as per the Information Bulletin (Page 10/30) and WBSCTVESD notification no. VED/748 dated 29.01.2024.
Post-2023 Candidates
- Stream: Healthcare Science under Community Healthcare Group.
- Requirement: Must pass any two of these subjects:

There are 02(two) government Male Institutions and few private Male Institutions.

- GNM: ~2,800 seats (Govt + Private colleges)
After seat allotment, candidates must complete student registration with West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC).
