NIRF 2026 refers to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) India Rankings 2026, released annually by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. Every year the ranking releases and Institute and Universities will have to submit the data asked by the MOE on the lines of requirement of NIRF form. The first ranking came in 2026 and this will be a 10 edition.

Current Status (as of March 26, 2026):
- The Data Capture System (DCS) for NIRF 2026 is now over
- Institutions submitted their data between January 2026 and February/March 2026 (with some extensions for sustainable institutions).
- The final India Rankings 2026 may release July/August 2026 (exact date will be out on the official portal).
The most recent rankings available right now are the NIRF India Rankings 2025, released in September 2025.
