Dibrugarh University BEd Admission 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates securing at least 50% marks in aggregate in either their Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Science, Social Sciences, Humanities, or Commerce, or holding a Bachelor of Engineering (BE)/Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree from Dibrugarh University or any other recognized university, with at least 50% marks in Science and Mathematics, are eligible for admission.
As per NCTE norms, candidates who have secured 50% or more marks in their Honours/Major subject but less than 50% marks in aggregate across all courses/papers of the Bachelor’s Degree will not be eligible for admission to the B.Ed. programme. The minimum requirement is 50% marks in aggregate. In addition, candidates must have qualified the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (CET) 2026, conducted by Dibrugarh University on July 4, 2026, with a valid score.
Candidates must secure at least 50% marks (or equivalent Grade Point) in aggregate in their Bachelor’s degree to be eligible for the B.Ed. programme. Securing 50% or more marks only in the Honours/Major subject will not be sufficient if the overall aggregate is below 50%.

Candidates belonging to certain categories may be granted up to 5% relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks, subject to the applicable rules. The relaxation may be available to the following candidates:

- Teacher candidates having a minimum of five years of teaching experience in a school recognized at least up to Class 10 by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam.
