BIHAR B. Ed CET 2024: Admission Open Apply Link Activated

Lalit Narayan Mithia University on behalf of Government of Bihar has started online application process for the admission to the two-year B. Ed and Shiksha Shastri programme for all universities of Bihar running B. Ed course. B. Ed as well as Shiksha Shastri is mainly for those who want to pursue a career in teaching field. These are programmes to learn the techniques of teaching and to nurture and improve skills so that candidates can become a successful teacher in future.

BIHAR B. Ed ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

For Two Year B. Ed Programme

1. candidates with at least 50% marks either in Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) and/or in the master degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities/Commerce or Bachelor’s in engineering/technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible to appear in the admission test for the two-year B. Ed Programme (CET B. Ed)

For Shiksha Shastri

• Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit (as the main subject) and Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/Acharya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra with 50% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible to appear in admission test for the Shiksha Shastri programme
• Shastri B.A. (Including Sanskrit Subject) with minimum 50% marks by recognized University or institution with two-year course, Acharya (First Year) MA (Sanskrit) must pass examination (bridge Corse) for first year. In percentage determination Acharya First Year or MA first year marks will not be helpful

Exam Pattern

1. Bihar CET B. Ed -2024 shall be of two Hours duration
2. There will be total 120 questions of Multiple-Choice types
3. There will be 1 mark for each right answer
4. There is no negative marking
5. The exam will be held in offline mode (OMR sheet type)

Qualifying Criteria for CET B. Ed-2024

1. For candidates of Unreserved category: 5% correspondingly 42 marks
2. For SC, ST, BC, EBC, EWS and Divyang Category candidates: 30% correspondingly 36 marks

Application Fees

1. Rs. 1000/- for General/Unreserved category
2. Rs. 750 for differently -abled/EBC/BC/Women/EWS candidates
3. Rs. 500/- for SC/ST category candidates

How to Apply for Bihar CET B. Ed- 2024

1. Candidates need to visit the official website of Lalit Narayan Mithila University: http://www.biharcetbed-lnmu.in/
2. Click on Online Registration: – Registration for Online Application tab
3. Click on New Registration
4. Fill the required information to register yourself on the portal. Information such as name, date of birth, gender, father’s name, mother’s name, email id and generate password, country code, mobile number, captcha lock
5. Click on login and complete your application
6. Fill the details to complete the following sections such as applicant detail, upload photo and signature, educational details, document upload, examination centre, preview and confirm, proceed to payment and finally taking print out of application form

Selection method

Selection of candidates into the course of two year B.Ed and Shiksha shastri programmes will be based on a merit list prepared based on the scorecard obtained in the Bihar CET B.Ed -2024.
