BSc Nursing is a four-year undergraduate degree programme. For getting admission you have completed a diploma in nursing (ANM or GNM) or has passed class 12 with physics, chemistry, and biology topics are eligible to apply for the programme.. In B.Sc. nursing the students are trained in both theoretical and practical areas of nursing.

BSc Nursing for Male Candidates

Though nursing is regarded as a female bastion KGMU Lucknow, CMC Ludhiana, and RUHS Rajasthan offer admission for male candidates also.

BSc Nursing Eligibility

The minimum qualification required for the B. SC programme is 12th passed from science. Every institute has its own criteria for the selection of candidates.
You should be an Indian National
You have passed class 12 or its equivalent from a recognized board or institute.
Percentage- colleges/universities set their own criteria for percentage generally it starts with 45-50 percent. 40% for the OBC Non-creamy layer/ SC/ ST.

Age-:

The minimum age for the candidate should be 17 years old.
Maximum age- some institutes set the maximum age also up to 25 or 27 years
