The Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi released a notification on 22 February 2024 to recruit for the post of Civil courts of the state of Jharkhand and the judicial academy and the Total vacancies are 399. Jharkhand (Ranchi). Jharkhand High Court Recruitment 2024 Online Application will be released on the date of 1 March 2024 and the closing date of online submission is 31 March 2024. ELIGIBILITY:

• English Stenographer (Civil Courts and Judicial Academy Jharkhand).
• Bachelor’s degree (with any stream).
• Typing Spead in Stenography should be 80 W.P.M in English.
• Typing speed in Computer with 40 W.P.M. in English.

AGE CRITERIA:

• UR & EWS -21 years to 35 years.
• B.C.-I and B.C.-II – 21 years to 37 years.
• Female (UR, EWS, B.C.-I, B.C.-II) – 21 years to 38 years.
• S.T. and S.C. (Male & Female) – 21 years to 40 years.

EXAMINATION FEE:

REQUIRED SCANNED DOCUMENTS:

• scanned photograph and signature of the candidate.
• Matriculation Certificate in proof of date of birth/ Matriculation Mark sheet.

Jharkhand High Court Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern:

• Test of Stenography and Typing – 90 Marks
• Personality test and Interview – 10 Marks.

1. Test of Stenography and Typing:
2. One passage containing 400 words each in English for the post of English Stenographer will be provided for dictation as a trial.
3. The stenography and typing test requires candidates to type 400 words in 10 minutes at a speed of 40 words per minute in English.

• Personality Test and Interview:
   The personality test assesses the candidate’s overall personality including:
• communication skills, aptitude, and attitude, while the viva/voce test evaluates the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of the legal system.

Jharkhand High Court Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:

• Firstly, the candidates would take a test of Stenography and Typing tests. Candidates who shall qualify for the Stenography and Typing Test.
• Qualified candidates will be called for the Personality test/Interview.
• Merit list will be basis of the marks outcome in the stenography skill test and the personality test/Interview.

FINAL SELECTION:

• The appointment of candidates will be made on the basis of merit list.
