- Bachelor’s degree (with any stream).
- Typing Spead in Stenography should be 80 W.P.M in English.
- Typing speed in Computer with 40 W.P.M. in English.
AGE CRITERIA:
- UR & EWS -21 years to 35 years.
- B.C.-I and B.C.-II – 21 years to 37 years.
- Female (UR, EWS, B.C.-I, B.C.-II) – 21 years to 38 years.
- S.T. and S.C. (Male & Female) – 21 years to 40 years.

Jharkhand High Court Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern:
- Test of Stenography and Typing – 90 Marks
- Personality test and Interview – 10 Marks.
- Test of Stenography and Typing:
- One passage containing 400 words each in English for the post of English Stenographer will be provided for dictation as a trial.
- The stenography and typing test requires candidates to type 400 words in 10 minutes at a speed of 40 words per minute in English.
- Personality Test and Interview:
The personality test assesses the candidate’s overall personality including: - communication skills, aptitude, and attitude, while the viva/voce test evaluates the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of the legal system.
Jharkhand High Court Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:
- Firstly, the candidates would take a test of Stenography and Typing tests. Candidates who shall qualify for the Stenography and Typing Test.
- Qualified candidates will be called for the Personality test/Interview.
- Merit list will be basis of the marks outcome in the stenography skill test and the personality test/Interview.
FINAL SELECTION:
- The appointment of candidates will be made on the basis of merit list.
