NFAT 2026 Forensic Science Entrance Test: Apply now

The application process for admission to the academic year 2025-26 has commenced from April 9.Admission is offered in various courses at the university and not all courses require NFAT 2026. Now NFSU will not conduct NFAT exam from academic year 2026. It will accept the entrance test score of 2026.

The accepted score is mentioned below

CLAT,CAT,CUET,JEE, GPAT and others

What NFAT 2026

NFAT stands for National Forensic Admission Test, was held by National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) earlier for admissions to UG, PG, and integrated forensic science programs. It has been the primary entrance exam for NFSU courses until recent changes.

Tentative Dates for NFSU Admission 2026

• Application Start Date: March 2026
• Application Deadline: May 2026
• Admit Card Release: One week before the exam
• Exam Dates: First Week of June 2026
• Result Declaration: Last Week of June 2026
• Counseling Sessions: Early July 2026
• Second round of Counselling-Mid July
• Programme starts-Third week of July

These dates are provisional and subject to change upon the official announcement.

NFSU 2026 Forensic Science: Application Process

Once the application portal opens, candidates can apply online through the official NFSU admission portal: https://nfsu.ac.in/admission. The application fee varies between INR 1,000 to 2,000, depending on the chosen program. ​

Eligibility Criteria

• Undergraduate Programs: Applicants should have completed their 10+2 education with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board.​
• Postgraduate Programs: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least 55% marks
