MAH M.P.Ed. CET 2026: The exam schedule is out for this entrance test. It is taking place on 24 March though date is tentative it may or may not change. The application form may open in January first week. MAH MPED CET is the Maharashtra Master of Physical Education Common Entrance Test conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra, for admission to M.P.Ed courses in government aided and university-affiliated colleges across Maharashtra. The exam will be held online on March 24, 2026, followed by a field test (offline) on March 25, 2026.

MAH M.P.Ed CET exam date 2026
- Exam Mode: Online, MCQ format

The exam is the first stage of selection, followed by a field test on the next day for qualifying candidates. The exam is for state-level admission primarily in Maharashtra for M.P.Ed courses in government aided colleges, aided minority institutions, university departments, university-managed institutes, and unaided colleges covered under the relevant act.
Application Fee
- For Open Category candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), All India candidates, and J&K migrant candidates: Rs. 1200
- For Backward Class Categories (SC, ST, VJ/DT-NT(A), NT-1(B), NT-2(C), NT-3(D), OBC, SEBC, EWS & SBC) belonging to Maharashtra State with valid caste and non-creamy layer certificates: Rs. 1000
MAH M.P.Ed CET eligibility criteria 2026
- The candidate must be an Indian National.
- The candidate should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks.
- Candidates belonging to backward classes of Maharashtra state require a minimum of 45% marks.
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc.) in Health and Physical Education can also apply.
- Final year candidates pursuing the qualifying degree are also eligible.
- There is no upper age limit to apply.
Required documents for the application and exam process include:
- Scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications.
- Relevant educational certificates proving qualification (B.P.Ed. or equivalent).
- Caste certificate, caste validity certificate, and non-creamy layer certificate if applicable.
- Domicile certificate if applicable.
- A valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID, or driving license.
- Other supporting certificates like PwD certificate if applicable.
Candidates must upload these documents while filling the application form and also carry valid photo ID and admit card on exam day for verification
Age
- No upper age limit for any candidate.
- Maharashtra domicile certificate is required for candidates claiming state reservation benefits.
- Other document proofs such as caste validity and domicile certificate are mandatory for reserved category Maharashtra candidates to avail relaxation.
MAH M.P.Ed CET answer key 2026
The answer key is released after the exam is over in the state. Candidates have chance to challenge any key that he/she is not satisfied. The Commission will correct the answer key if it is genuine.

The result will be out on the official website of MHT CET. The candidates can see their result on the official website and download their result. It carried your individual marks for admission to the college.

MAH M.P.Ed CET counselling process 2026
The seats in the college will be through a counselling process. Candidates will have to register for counselling after the result. Follow these steps for counselling
- After the CET results are out, candidates register online for counselling on the CET Cell’s official portal.
- Candidates fill in their preferred colleges and courses based on available seats.
- Document verification will be either through e-scrutiny or physical facilitation centers.
- Provisional and final merit lists will be out on the basis of CET scores and eligibility.
- Multiple rounds of seat allotment (typically 3 to 4 rounds) will take place, allotting seats based on merit, category reservation, and candidate preferences.
- Candidates receive seat allotment letters and must confirm acceptance by reporting to the allotted institute within the specified timeline.
- If seats remain vacant after rounds are complete, further rounds or spot admissions may take place according to CET Cell guidelines.
