The WBJEE 2026 syllabus: It covers Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics based on the Class 11 and 12 curriculum of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) and equivalent boards. The application form opens soon in last week of December 2025 or early January 2026.
Exam date is around April 2026 and result comes in May 2026. Last year in 2025 the result delayed due to court case and it came very late.

WBJEE 2026 Syllabus Frequently Asked Questions
Offline (Pen-and-paper, OMR sheets) total duration of the exam is 4 hours divided into 2 hours each for physics and chemistry and Mathematics. Total MCQs 155 of 200 Marks
For every wrong answer 1/2 marks will be deducted, unattempted no score
The exam will be conducted in April 2026 and application form opens soon
The candidate must aim for 150 marks to secure a place in a good college, such as Jadavpur University or Calcutta University.
The JEE Main 2026 available seats are 10 per cent
