Frequently Asked Questions – TG EAPCET‑2026
1. Is TG EAPCET‑2026 ranking based on the raw marks secured in the test?
No. The TG EAPCET‑2026 ranking is not directly by taking the candidate’s scored marks (against the Final Key). Since the exam is in multiple sessions, the marks obtained in different sessions are normalized to ensure uniformity, similar to other state‑level and national‑level CETs. The ranking will be prepared based on the normalized marks obtained by the candidate.
2. What documents should a candidate carry to the TG EAPCET‑2026 test center?
Candidates must carry the following documents to the exam center:
- Hall Ticket (Admit Card)
- Printed “Filled‑in Online Application Form” with the candidate’s photograph duly pasted on it
- Photocopy of Caste Certificate (for SC/ST candidates only), in case the caste certificate number the candidates does not furnish at the time of submitting the Online Application Form

3. What is the examination duration and timings?
- Exam Duration: 3 hours (mandatory)
- Exam Timings:
- Forenoon (FN) Session: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
- Afternoon (AN) Session: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
4. What is the reporting time for the TG EAPCET‑2026?
Candidates can enter the TG EAPCET‑2026 test center at least two hours before the commencement of the exam. Candidates will not get entry into the test center, even if they are late by a minute, after the test has started.
5. Where can the candidate find the seating details?
Candidates can find their seating details on the notice board at the exam center. The invigilators will also be available to guide students to their respective computer laboratories.
6. Where will student biometrics/photo be taken?
After the verification of documents at the entrance of the TG EAPCET‑2026 test center, students will get guidane to the biometrics capturing facility. The examiners will take the candidate’s photograph and Right‑Hand Thumb impression as part of the biometrics capturing process.
7. When and where will I get my login credentials for the Computer Based Test?
The Login ID and Password for the Computer Based Test will be out at the test center, 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Candidates must listen carefully to the instructions given by the invigilators.
8. Is there any negative marking for wrong answers in TG EAPCET‑2026?
No. There are no negative marks for wrong answers in TG EAPCET‑2026. Candidates can attempt questions without penalty for incorrect responses.
9. Can I change my option once I select and save an answer?
Yes. A candidate can change the selected option at any point during the test by clicking on another option and clicking “Save & Next” again. The latest saved option will be considerable as the final answer.
10. How can I know whether my answer is saved or not?
After selecting an option and clicking the “Save & Next” button, the corresponding question number in the Question Palette (on the right‑hand side of the screen) will turn Green. This indicates that the answer saved.
11. Which questions will be considerable for evaluation?
Only the following questions will be considerable for evaluation:
- Questions for which answers saved (shown in Green)
- Questions that are marked for review after answering (shown in Purple)
Unanswered or un‑saved questions are not evaluable.
12. Can I track my time during the examination?
Yes. A Timer located in the top‑right corner of the computer screen will display the time remaining for the closure of the test, helping you manage your time.
13. Can I switch to another section (subject) or question in between the examination?
Yes. Candidates can switch between sections (subjects) or questions within a section at any time during the exam, by clicking on the respective section name or question number in the Question Palette or section list.
14. What shall I do if there is any problem with my computer during the examination?
If you face any problem with your computer during the examination, do not panic.
- Raise your hand immediately and inform the invigilator.
- You will be shifted to another system as quickly as possible.
- Your timer will continue from the same point where the problem occurred, and you will not lose any time.
- All questions answered or marked for review will remain saved and visible in the new system.
There is no need to worry about losing time or responses if your system fails.
15. Am I allowed to carry a calculator?
No. Calculators are not permissible nside the TG EAPCET‑2026 examination hall. You must strictly follow the instructions given in your TG EAPCET‑2026 Hall Ticket and on the official website.
16. Do I need to be an expert in computer operations to take the computer‑based test?
No. You do not need to be an expert. All you need to know is:
- Using the mouse to select options.
- Clicking and navigating between sections and questions.
You are advised to practice the mock test, whose link is available on the TG EAPCET‑2026 official website and can be accessed at any time.
17. What are the benefits of a computer‑based test for me?
The computer‑based test (CBT) offers several advantages over a traditional OMR‑based offline test:
- Change your responses at any time during the exam.
- See a summary of question status (answered, unanswered, marked for review) while the exam is ongoing.
- Navigate easily to Unanswered or “Marked for Review” questions.
- View the entire question paper (160 questions) on a single screen.

18. If I arrive at the TG EAPCET‑2026 examination center late by a minute, will I get entry to take the examination?
No. Candidates will not get permissi into the examination centre even if they are late by a minute after the commencement of the test.
Therefore, it is advisable for the all candidates are advised to reach the test centre at least one hour before the scheduled start time to avoid such an issue.
