CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: Main Features
- The overall pass percentage in CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 is 85.20%.
- A total of 17,80,365 students registered for the CBSE Class 12 Board Examinations 2026. Of these, 17,68,968 students appeared for the exams, while 15,07,109 passed. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 85.20%, which is 3.19 percentage points lower compared to last year’s pass percentage of 88.39%
- Over 94,000 students scored above 90%, while more than 17,000 students secured above 95% marks.
- Girls outperformed boys once again in the CBSE Class 12 examinations.
- The examinations were conducted across 7,573 exam centres with evaluations carried out at over 6,000 centres nationwide.
- CBSE conducted exams in 120 subjects during the 2026 board examinations.
- Trivandrum region emerged as the best-performing region with a pass percentage of 95.62%, followed by Chennai and Bengaluru.
- Students can check results through official websites, DigiLocker, UMANG app, and SMS services.
- CBSE continued its digital evaluation system (OSM) for faster and more transparent result processing.
- This year, CBSE discontinued the traditional verification of marks process for Class 12 due to the fully digital evaluation system.
