How to Apply for RRB Paramedical Recruitment
Candidates applying under CEN 03/2025 had to complete the application through the RRB’s online application system.
Step 1: Visit the Official RRB Website
Candidates should use the official RRB websites/application portal for recruitment. RRB Chandigarh listed the CEN 2026 application link and advised candidates to rely only on official RRB websites for recruitment information.

Step 2: Create an Account
Candidates had to create an account by providing the required basic details, including their mobile number and email ID. Candidates should enter these details carefully because the details submitted through the Create an Account form could not be modified later through the normal modification window. The selected RRB also could not be changed.
Step 3: Select the Paramedical Post
After logging in, candidates had to select the relevant Paramedical category/post for which they fulfilled the educational and other eligibility requirements.
Candidates should carefully check the post-wise eligibility, medical standards, and age limit before selecting a post.
Step 4: Enter Educational and Personal Details
Candidates have to enter details such as:
- Personal information
- Educational qualifications
- Category/community details
- Address
- Post preference, wherever applicable
- Other details required by the application form
Candidates should ensure that the information matches their original certificates.
Step 5: Capture Live Photograph
One important change in the RRB Paramedical 2026 Application Form was that candidates were not required to upload a pre-existing passport-size photograph. Instead, the application module was designed to capture a live photograph during the application process using either a webcam or the front camera of a smartphone.
Live Photo Instructions
Candidates should:
- Face the camera directly.
- Keep the camera at approximately eye level.
- Keep the entire face clearly visible.
- Maintain a neutral expression.
- Keep the face centred within the indicated frame.
- Wear non-white clothing, preferably dark-coloured clothing for better contrast.
- Remove caps, masks, and glasses/spectacles while capturing the photograph.
- Check the preview and retake the photograph if necessary.
Important: Candidates must not photograph a previously printed or digitally stored photograph and upload it. The RRB instructions specifically state that submitting such an image can lead to rejection of the application.
