Delhi CET Admission 2020: Delhi government has released the application form for admission into diploma courses in the Engineering and Technology Pharmachy and various other fields.

It will be organized by department of Training and Technical Education, Delhi. Candidates whose name will appear in the merit list will get admission into various government as well as private polytechnic institutions/colleges located in Delhi.

The Admission is purely on the basis of merit.
We are presenting you the details of the courses,eligibility,Fee, and Counsellling- other details of the course:

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay application fee of Rs. 200 + Bank charges.

Courses and qualification

Group-A

For candidates applying for Diploma Courses in following field:

1. Applied Art, 2.Architectural Assistantship, 3.Art for Drawing Teachers, 4.Automobile Engineering,5. Cosmetology & Health, 6.Chemical Engineering,7. Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering (Construction Engineering),8. Civil Engg. (Public Health & Environment Engineering),9. Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering,10. Electronics & Communication Engineering, Digital Electronics, 11.Medical Electronics,12. Fashion Design,13. Garment Fabrication Technology, 14.Information Technology Enabled Services & Management (ITES&M),15. Interior Design, 16.Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Library & Information Science, 17.Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engg. (Maintenance Engg.) 18.Medical Laboratory Technology,19. Polymer Technology, 20.Printing Technology21., Production Engineering,22. Textile Design, 23.Tool & Die Making.

Qualification:

Passed 10th class or any other examination recognized as equivalent to 10th class examination, conducted by CBSE / other board with minimum 35% or 3.7 CGPA aggregate.
The subjects Science, Mathematics and English are compulsory and the candidate should have passed in each of these three subjects.

Note: Candidates passing/qualifying class 10th under the grading system should have obtained minimum pass grade in the compulsory subjects i.e., Science, Mathematics and English.

Group – B

For candidates applying for Diploma in Modern Office Practice (English), Modern Office Practice (Hindi)

Qualification:

  • Passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi in any stream of 10+2
  • or any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior Secondary School Certificate with minimum 35% marks in aggregate of the best three subjects including English for MOP (Eng.) and Hindi or Sanskrit for MOP (Hindi).
  • The candidate should have obtained pass marks in the relevant subject i.e. English for MOP (English) and Hindi/Sanskrit for MOP (Hindi)

Group C:

For candidates applying for Diploma in Pharmacy

Qualification-

  • Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics OR Biology (Botany and Zoology), i.e., PCM/PCB as compulsory subjects.

Group D:

For candidates applying for Lateral Entry to the Diploma Course (For Delhi region candidates only).

Qualification:

  • Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/Biology i.e., PCM/PCB as compulsory subjects.
  • OR Passed 10+2 Science (with Mathematics as one of the Subjects)
  • OR 10+2 Science with Technical Vocational Subject. OR Passed 10th+ITI(2 years)** with appropriate Tradein that order shall be eligible for admission to Second Year Diploma Course(s) of appropriate/analogous Programme).
  • The ITIs/ITCs must be from Institutes located only in Delhi and affiliated to DGE&T/BTE, Delhi.

NOTE: If a candidate has passed his / her qualifying exam from board other than CBSE or State board (India), it will be sole responsibility of the candidate to produce equivalence certificate (CBSE) of qualifying exam (10th/12th as applicable) at the time of Admission, failing which, the candidature will not be considered.

Rules Applied for preparing the Merit List

Group Rules for Preparation of Merit-List Order of Priority.

  • In case of a Tie Group-A
  • Aggregate marks* of Best of the 5 Subjects in the qualifying examination which must include Science, Mathematics and English. *Inclusive of Both Theory & Practical, wherever applicable.
  • In case of Tie-:Candidates having more marks in Mathematics in Qualifying Exam shall rank higher.
  • In case of a tie, the order of rank would be based on marks obtained in Science in the Qualifying Exam, followed by marks obtained in English and
  • Then the Date of birth for drawing the merit list i.e. the candidate older in age shall rank higher.

Group-B

Aggregate marks of Best of 4 Subjects in the qualifying examination which must Include 1. English for MOP (English) 2. Hindi or Sanskrit form MOP (Hindi) 3. English for MOP (English) and Hindi/Sanskrit for MOP (Hindi)

For MOP (English):

  • Candidates securing more marks in English in Qualifying Exam shall rank higher.
  • After that date of birth shall be considered i.e. the candidate older in age shall rank higher.
  • For MOP (Hindi): o Candidates securing more marks in Hindi/Sanskrit o After that date of birth shall be considered for drawing the merit list i.e. the candidate older in age shall rank higher.

Group-C

Aggregate of Best of 3 Subjects which must include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology
Candidates having more marks in Chemistry

  • Followed by marks obtained in Physics
  • Followed by marks obtained in Biology/Mathematics
  • Then the Date of birth for drawing the merit list i.e. the candidate older in age shall rank higher.

Group-D 1

  • For 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics /Biology: Percentage of Aggregate which Must Include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics /Biology
  • OR 2. For 10 + 2 Science with Mathematics: Percentage of Aggregate Marks which Must Include Mathematics
    OR 3. For 10 + 2 Science with Technical Vocational: Percentage of Aggregate Marks OR 4. For 10 + (2 Years ITI) with appropriate trade: Percentage of Aggregate Marks
  • The Date of Birth shall be considered i.e. the candidate older in age shall rank higher

In case of further tie, aggregate marks obtained in 10th class shall be considered.

  • Online Choice Submission 14 September2020 to 17September 2020

Result of Couselling:

  • First counselling and Printing of Provisional allotment letter-21st September2020 (04:00 PM)
  • Online Payment of Part Institutional Fees 22nd Sep. 2020(10:00 AM) to24th Sep. 2020(4:00 PM)
  • Freezing/Up gradation of allotted seat (Online) by candidate. 22nd Sep. 2020(10:00 AM) to25th Sep. 2020(6:00 PM)

Second Round of Counselling

Online payment of Counselling fees(For NEW candidates only)- 22nd Sep. 2020to 24th Sep. 2020
Online Choice Submission 22nd Sep. 2020 to 26th Sep. 2020

Result of 2nd counselling

Printing of Provisional allotment letter 28 Sep. 2020 (4:00 PM)
Online Payment of Part Institutional Fees 29 Sep. 2020(10:00 AM) to1 October 2020(4:00 PM)
Freezing/Up gradation of allotted seat(online) by candidate. 29th Sep.2020(10:00 AM) to2 nd October 2020(6:00 PM)

Third Round of Counselling

  • Online Payment of Counselling fees(For NEW candidates only) 29 Sep. 2020(10:00 AM) to1 October 2020(4:00 PM)

Result Declaration of 3rd counseling

Start of Fourth Round of Counselling

Declaration of Result of 4th counselling
