GATE Answer Key 2024 & Answer Key Challenge Window. The result is tomorrow 16 March. Candidates will be able to see their results by entering their registered email id and password. The answer key was released in February 2024.The window is opened for the Answer key challenge. Candidates will be able to challenge the answer key till 25 February 2024.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024) is one of the national-level entrance examinations. It is conducted every year jointly by the Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore & one of the IITs.

Indian Oil,Airport Authority, NPCIL and EIL will accept the GATE Score 2024 for its recruitment .

This year IISc Banglore is the conducting body of GATE 2024. The exam is a gateway to get admission in Master’s programs and direct doctoral programs in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture and Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Science.

GATE Answer Key 2024 Examination pattern 2024

• GATE 2024 will be conducted for 30 papers. The Exam will be conducted in online mode only (Computer Based Test).
• Candidates are allowed to choose more than one subject. Students can appear for ONE or TWO subjects in the GATE exam. However, the option of two subjects is applicable only for a prescribed set of combinations.

What is the GATE 2024 exam?

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a National level examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Science and  Engineering. It is administered to enrol on the Master’s Program of institutes as well as jobs at Public Sector Companies.

• The minimum eligibility criteria:

• 3rd year Graduation candidates can apply for the exam.
• Graduates from the Arts and Commerce streams can also apply for the GATE examination.

            No maximum or minimum age requirement

• Indian citizens and the candidates from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, UAE, Singapore and Ethiopia.

• Important things required while filling out the GATE application form 2024:

• Recent passport-size photograph
• A scanned copy of the self-signature
• Degree certificates
• Category Certificates – SC/ST/PWD or Dyslexic Certificate, if required
• Government-issued ID proof (Driving license/ Aadhaar card/ Passport/ Voter ID card etc.)
• Important points related to subjects:
• Two additional subjects are also being introduced: Environmental science and engineering (ES) and humanities and social sciences (XH). Hence, GATE will be conducted for 27 subjects over six days and twelve sessions.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Qualifying in GATE is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission and/or financial assistance to Postgraduate Programs (Master’s and Doctoral) with the Ministry of Education (MoE) and other Government Scholarships / Assistantships, subject to the admission criteria of the admitting institute.

The GATE score is also used by some Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) for their recruitment and by several other universities in India and abroad for admissions.

GATE 2024 score will remain valid for THREE YEARS from the date of announcement of results.

Steps to fill GATE Application Form 2024

Candidates need to follow the steps provided below to apply for the GATE exam:

• Upload the required documents
• Pay the GATE registration fee 2021 according to category
• Preview the details entered and submit the application form.

GATE is conducted to screen the candidates to offer admission into M.E./M.Tech/PhD at the IITs, NITS, IIITs and CFTIs and also for recruitment in Public Service Undertakings (PSUs).

IIT Bombay has released the GATE application form 2021 on the official website at app state.iitb.ac.in. The GATE 2024 registration date has started on 30 August 2023 and will be open till September 29 2023.

The GATE 2024 Application Form is open for J&K candidates. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted to provide admission to postgraduate Engineering and Technology programmes. It is a national-level examination conducted by any of IIT or IISc Banglore. Through this exam, admission will be offered to many private or government engineering institutions all over India.
