KCET 2024 No Re-examination

KCET 2024 re-examination will not be conducted. The students have complained for out of syllabus question. There was news of re-conducting the exam.

But with the passing time it was decided by the board that it will not consider the out of syllabus question for marking.

The decision reads that keeping in view the Expert committee report and opinion of many stakeholders and the paramount interest of protecting the legitimate interest of the students in mind, the KEA is directed to remove questions that are out of 2023-24 syllabus from the assessment and it will only assess the remaining questions.

The board already mentioned the number of questions that will be removed from the assessment are Physics 9,Chemistry 15, Mathematics 15 and Biology 11. The answer key will be published along with the list of out of syllabus questions only. This will adequately protect the interest of the students and provide a level playing field. Two questions with incorrect solution will also be awarded grace marks.

KCET 2024 No Re-Examination

The government explained that it was decided not to re-conduct the exam considering the other exams that are being conducted. The exam that are being conducted are Comedk, NEET UG,NEST,JEE Advanced CUET and second third attempt of PUC 2.

The government feels that re conducting this exam will cause unnecessary burden on the students and above all harassment
