ANM(R) & GNM 2027 Ranking Methodology
WBJEEB will prepare the merit ranks based on candidates’ performance in the common entrance examination. Candidates will be able to view and download their Rank Card, which will contain their score and rank.
The Board will prepare two separate merit ranks:
- ANM(R)
- GNM
The rank will be known as the General Merit Rank (GMR). Candidates will be ranked in descending order of marks obtained in the entrance examination. WBJEEB will not publish individual rank or score lists for public release. Candidates can access their own rank and score through their Rank Card.
Category-wise Ranks
Separate category merit positions will also be indicated for applicable candidates, including:
- SC
- ST
- OBC-A

However, the GMR will be used for counselling, seat allotment, and admission. Category ranks are provided for information purposes. The category information provided during application will be verified during counselling/admission. If a candidate’s category claim is found to be invalid during document verification, the category rank may be cancelled, corrected, or modified.
