Anna University MSc 2 years and MSc Integrated Admission 2026
The application form is open for pursuing the MSc 2 years and MSc integrated courses from Anna University. The MSc 2 years course is meant for Foreign National/NRI and CIWGC candidates while the MSc Integrated is meant for the Indian nationals. The admission is on the basis of last qualifying marks.

Online applications are invited for the eligible candidates for the admissions to M.Sc. (2 Year) degree programmes in Mathematics, Materials Science, Medical Physics, Applied Chemistry, Applied Geology and Electronic Media offered in the College of Engineering Guindy (CEG) for the academic year 2026 – 27.
Eligibility NRI
ELIGIBILITY – GENERAL · The Father / Mother / Legal guardian of the candidate should have NRI status. Recent NRI status certificate of the (Father / Mother / Legal Guardian) issuedbytheIndian Embassy of the respective country with their seal should be submittedasperAnnexure -I (Affidavit for NRI status is not accepted). The Embassy Certificateobtained prior to 1 st of March 2026 shall not be accepted.
For CIWGC category,
the Father / Mother / Legal guardian of the candidateshouldbe working in one of the Gulf Countries and they should have NRI status.
· If the Father / Mother / Legal guardian of the candidate is a Seafarer, theContinuous Discharge Certificate (CDC) is mandatory to prove the NRI status.
· Employment Certificate of the NRI (Father / Mother / Legal Guardian) (issuedonorafter 1 st March 2026) should be submitted as per Annexure – II. In the caseof self-employment, proof related to the details of the nature of business, annual incomeandIncome Tax paid (for the last 3 years) are

Foreign Nationals Eligibility

MSc integrated 5 Years
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
a) M.Sc. (Computer Science) A pass in HSC (Academic), with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as three of thefoursubjects of study prescribed under Part – III or its equivalent with a minimumaveragemarkof 45% for OC, 40% for BC/BCM/ MBC & DNC /SC/SCA/ST category. The averagemarkrefers to the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together. b)
M.Sc. Electronic Media
The candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of 10+2 Curriculumofany group under Part – III or any other Examination of any University (or) authorityapproved by Anna University, as equivalent there to.
M.Sc. (Computer Science) Merit Criteria
Merit list uses aggregate marks out of 300 from qualifying subjects: Mathematics (100), Physics (100), Chemistry (100). Admission follows Tamil Nadu Communal Reservation Policy.
Tie-Breaking Order:
- Percentage in Mathematics
- Percentage in Physics
- Percentage in optional subject
- Total percentage in Class XII
- Date of birth (elder preferred)
- Random number (higher preferred)
M.Sc. (Electronic Media) Merit Criteria
Merit based on percentage in Part III subjects (excluding Part I Language and Part II English). Admission follows Tamil Nadu Communal Reservation Policy.

Communal Reservation Policy
Seats allotted via online counseling per Government of Tamil Nadu rules: OC, BC, BCM, MBC & DNC, SC, SCA, ST.
- Only Tamil Nadu natives qualify for reservations.
- Community list in Annexure-I.
- Required: Community certificate (card or e-certificate) from authorities in Table-I.
