The ASTU has extended the last date to submit the application form for ASTUEE 2026 MTech Registration. The admission will be given in two MTEch course namely CSE and Engery Engineering. The ASTU will first release the merit list of GATE 2026 score candidates and later will release the merit list of ASTUEE 2026.

Since last date to submit the application form is now 10 July so the GATE merit list for admission has also been delayed. The ASTU will announce the new dates regarding this. The earlier schedule to release the GATE merit list for admission was 26 June.
ASTUEE 2026 MTech Registration in Computer Science and Engineering
ASTUEE 2026 MTech Registration Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying through ASTUEE 2026 MTech Registration must possess any one of the following qualifications with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) or an equivalent CGPA:
- B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
- Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
- M.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Students who are awaiting their final semester B.E./B.Tech. results in the eligible branches may also apply. However, they must submit all required qualifying documents within the deadline specified by the university’s selection committee.
Candidates with a valid GATE score in the eligible disciplines will be given preference during admission. Seats will first be allotted based on GATE merit. Any remaining vacant seats will then be filled through the ASTUEE 2026 entrance examination.
The university will follow the reservation and relaxation policies prescribed by the Government. The list of shortlisted candidates for counselling and admission will be published on the official ASTU website. Selected candidates must produce all original educational certificates, mark sheets, and other required documents at the time of counselling and admission.

ASTUEE 2026 MTech Registration Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission through ASTUEE 2026 must hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or any other relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) or an equivalent CGPA.
Applicants who are awaiting their final semester B.E./B.Tech. results are also eligible to apply. However, they must submit all required qualifying documents within the timeline specified by the university’s selection committee.
